Access to more than 170 HE Libraries

Sconul

The SCONUL Access scheme allows you to borrow from other HE libraries nearer to home if you are a member of staff, postgraduate, part-time or placement student.

Full-time undergraduates may use other libraries for reference purposes.

More information can be found on the SCONUL Access website.

You need to apply to Lancaster University Library first, and if you are eligible we will give you a SCONUL Access membership card.

Remember to check before you make a visit to another library, in case you need to take a photograph or if there are restrictions on what time you can join.

IT facilities and access to electronic journals and databases are not included in the scheme and the availability of some collections may be restricted at the discretion of the participating Library.
