Business and Management guide for students in Ghana

Using OneSearch

OneSearch is Lancaster's search and discovery tool that enables you to find both print and online resources that are available in Ghana.

You can use OneSearch to search a range of resources at the same time, or a specific collection such as the Main Library Catalogue, or the Primo Central Index of scholarly publications. OneSearch also offers some features which we think you'll like:

  • web searching features such as spell checker and suggestions for refining search results
  • book covers similar to Amazon and Google, and material type images
  • multiple refining and sorting options
  • Web 2.0 features, such as tagging and the ability to add reviews

By signing into OneSearch, you can also access your "personal space", where you can save useful results and searches, renew your loans, request items that are currently out on loan, and set some personal preferences.

For further instructions, HINTS and TIPS on how to get the most out of OneSearch have a look at our Getting started with OneSearch page, which includes an online tutorial and links to short videos on the Lancaster University YouTube Channel.
