EndNote Desktop 20 *new*

What is EndNote

EndNote is a desktop and online software used for the organisation and management of bibliographic citations and references.  It can support your referencing by helping you to organise your references and create bibliographies.

It allows you to :

  • Find and import references downloaded from OneSearch and databases directly into your EndNote library
  • Store, organise and search for references in your EndNote library
  • link to Word to Cite references and create bibliographies

Why should I use EndNote?

  • Whilst studying at University, or carrying our further research you need to provide accurate references to all the sources you use to avoid plagiarism - EndNote makes this easier!
  • The University supports EndNote. Any problems or issues can be directed to the Faculty Librarians or email facultylibrarians@lancaster.ac.uk
