Logging into Lancaster Library Resources

To access any library resources, including OneSearch, the eBook collections or any of our databases, you will need to log in using your Lancaster University username and password. Should you not receive these credentials, or if you have questions regarding your account, please contact Sabine Gerlach and her Student Services Team at studentsupport@lancasterleipzig.de

If you are browsing the Web and find articles or eBooks that you want to read then you will need to log in to the that site you have found - bearing in mind that the library may not have a subscription.  You will need to look for links that are similar to:

  • Institutional login
  • Shibboleth
  • UK Access Management Federation

Choose Lancaster from any list of institutions and you will be taken to our local Web Login page where you use your Lancaster University username and password.

Please ignore any OpenAthens links as Lancaster does not use that service.

Reading Lists: A good place to start

Most of your modules will have a reading list to help you find out more about your subject, and your tutors will guide you in what you need to read and when. Look for the green jigsaw icon in moodle.
