Hi everyone, welcome to the Library guide for History!

Here we have collected together resources and information that will hopefully be helpful to you during your studies at Lancaster. You can navigate using the tabs across the top of the guide, or the quick links box to the left.

We have also included some information about how to find different types of resources in the Library - books, ebooks, journal articles, digitised source collections, newspapers, archival material, and more.

Get started with your search

Onesearch is the library's catalogue / discovery tool: it's a great place to start looking for materials (books, journals, etc) for essays and assignments.

Use OneSearch to search for books, journals, articles, DVDs etc.
